Welcome to our web site. We supply precision hand crafted limited edition scale model cars made in pewter. All are 1:43 scale. All of our models are finished to extremely high standards.
We also stock a range of second hand models, which can be seen in the Special Offers section. These are to various scales, as shown in the description.
Our range includes both racing and road cars.
We apologise if you find the site loads slowly - this is caused by the number of photographs which we include. However we believe that this gives you a better idea of the quality of the models and with the additional articles which we have included a far more interesting site. We hope you agree!

All models are painted to a high quality finish and are highly detailed, with hand painted instrumented dashboards and weathered seats. Models are scaled at 1:43 (7mm to 1 foot). They are all made in the EEC and are limited editions.
Limited edition special offer models are often available. Many of these are rare models. Most of them are made in pewter, although occasionally white metal models appear in the special offers range. These models are also 1:43 scale. The special offers range also includes some second hand 1:24 Franklin Mint models. Where the models are second hand this is clearly stated in the model description.
Our company name comes from marque - meaning a brand name in the car industry - and art, which implies the artistry which goes into a top class car model (you only have to see the weathering effect which is given to hoods and seats in the Rolls-Royce models and the hand painted dashboards to give this real meaning).

The advantages and disadvantages of models made in pewter are:
- Pewter is stronger than white metal.
- Pewter is lighter.
- Pewter can be bent several times before breaking.
- White metal can have a high lead content whereas there is none in pewter.
- Although more expensive, pewter is easier to cast (especially thin or fine sections) and because it is lighter it is less prone to distortion.
- One of the main advantages is the ability where necessary to polish it to almost a chrome finish & this gives items like radiators a much more realistic look than plating.
- Because pewter is lighter and stronger it makes packing and delivery more successful - less breakages in transit.
As you can see from the above pewter has considerable advantages, both from the point of view of the manufacturer and the collector. - which is why we use it.
